We’ll bring together three artists with different specializations to provide the audience with a comprehensive overview of game art.
Flavia Ghiță is a Lead Character Artist at AMC, a journey she began 4 years ago as an intern. She earned her diploma in 2012 from the Faculty of Interior Design (UAUIM), but game art has always been her aspiration, and when the time came, she joined the team. As soon as she finished her junior role, she began mentoring other newcomers, continuing a traditional practice in the studio. Since last year, she has been teaching Character Art at the master's program at Cinetic, a niche she will also address in the masterclass.
Daniel Vijoi works in both Concept and 3D Environment Art, but also engages in photography, drawing, and painting. A mentor to other artists and a contributing professor at Poli, Cinetic, and UVT, Daniel has been the Lead in 3D Environment at AMC for many years. He will give a presentation focused on building digital worlds.
Dan Cocină has been an Art Director at AMC for over 20 years, previously specializing in 3D and now in the 2D Concept Art department. This shift was driven by a talent scan through three free schools led by Dan last year, as well as close collaboration with the Faculty of Arts in Timișoara (UVT). He will initiate participants in the talk into Concept Art.
